What is the NDIS and how does it work?
The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life. The NDIS also connects anyone with disability to services in their community.
The 4 requirements for access to the NDIS are:

- You have a disability caused by an impairment.
- Your impairment is likely to be permanent.
- Your impairment means you have a substantially reduced functional capacity to do one or more daily life activities.
- Your impairment affects your ability to work, study or take part in social life.
